If you’ve been following us on social media, then you would have seen a few sneak peeks of what the Mzansi Beautiful brand will be offering. As we embark on the final stretch toward the official launch date, we’ll be introducing you to some of the talented, local makers.

This past weekend, we had our soft launch at the Freedom Weekend Market in Paarl. For those living outside of South Africa, Paarl is in the Western Cape province of South Africa.

This amazing new Farmers Market showcases South African foods, wines, craft beers and, most importantly, locally made products and crafts. There is live music too!

But for now, and to further share the love and give you a glimpse of what is coming, we’re sharing a bit more behind the heart of Mzansi Beautiful.

About Mzansi Beautiful

It’s been a tough year, but there is beauty in victory over difficult times. Mzansi Beautiful has evolved from the much-loved Mzansi Masks brand that started selling handmade masks and locally-made sanitizers when South Africa first went into lockdown.

South Africans have been forced to adapt in tough times, and Mzansi Beautiful showcases some of the products that have been locally made, with love. Mzansi Beautiful believes in supporting local South African makers, crafters, creatives, and small businesses that have emerged during the struggle of COVID or who have made it through this year stronger and wiser.

We know how much all South African businesses need support at this time so we are doing everything that we can to support buying local!

The drive behind Mzansi Beautiful is all about supporting South African makers, and all products have been made locally, with care and attention. From spoil and nurture products like organically-made soaps and soy candles to beach bags, purses, and tote bags to store all necessary things.

From interior items like art prints, ceramics, tableware, linens, kitchen items, to soft toys, kids dresses, rompers and adult kimonos, harem pants, and kaftans. We have an amazing range that we are carefully selecting and curating just for you.

‘Tis the season to be merry

November (and summer) is here. The Christmas season is on our doorstep. What better way to spoil your loved ones than with a special gift and carefully selected item. Each product sold by Mzansi Beautiful has been thought about and designed, nurtured and carefully considered while being made, making them the perfect Christmas present. Watch this space for our online store going live in the next week!

Are you a proudly South African maker? We’re encouraging creatives and makers to reach out to us if you want to supply to us and we will showcase your products.

Whether you’re a fabric artist, potter, graphic artist, stitcher, craftsman, textile or jewellery designer - we’d love to chat to you about including your beautiful, locally-made products in the Mzansi Beautiful online store and select markets. Please email
