Can you tell us a bit more about your Christmas decorations?

"Last year, I was looking for something different, as opposed to all the mass-produced decorations in the shops, and being a crocheter, I decided to do a couple of crocheted decorations.

My clients really loved them, so I decided to also make some for Christmas 2020. I always aim for something different, moving away from traditional Christmas colours, but still recognisable as Christmas. I make use of cotton yarns as much as possible."

How do you believe Christmas decorations add to a festive mood?

"When you start seeing the Christmas decorations come out, I guess everyone's mood lightens a bit as we know holiday and fun family time is imminent!"

What do you believe the value is in supporting local makers during this festive season?

"It has always been important for us as a family to buy and support locals. Now, with our current economic situation, and with Covid wreaking havoc with a lot of people's income, I think it has never been more important to buy and support locals!"

What other products do you sell with Mzansi Beautiful?

"Currently, I have the crocheted baubles, gift tags, and star garlands, and zippered pouches. I am working on a new order for pouches, for Mzansi, in some beautiful colours."
